Cugini 2013 - TEAM INTEGRITY WINS IT!

 

The team of Tom Greene, Young T-Bone Greene, Bob Greene, Tim Doyle and Dylan Morris won the annual Manchisi family trek to Virginia for Cugini 2013 with a 1 under par.  This was Big T's fourth trophy and was also the second for both Tim and Dylan. Young T-Bone Greene had an MVP performance and will likely be promoted to captain for the 2014 event. With Thursday night travel challenges recalling last year's Destination F&^% theme, the weather for the weekend could not have been better. Thanks to the ladies upstairs (Alice, Anna and Millie) for looking down over us as they always do.

Rookies Brian Manchisi, Joey Morris and Billy Manchisi and JV Faviano were in strong form though young Brian's 1st tee shot  left him nowhere to go but up. Matt's pup Rosalita also spent the weekend with the boys. The weekend had the typical pool, cigars, singing (including a new Great Big Sea set ) and featured Zach's remarkable cooking in the newly inaugurated Granny's kitchen. Saturday nights crab cakes were the best ever and in the Sunday hangover open, Zach and Frank regained the cousin's cup defeating Bill (who looked like a pink flamingo) and John winning by 6 with 5 holes left to play. Special thanks to MVP Pete Manchisi for cleaning the house between 3 and 7 AM!  It was a weekend of food, fun , mixed drinks (courtesy of Dr. Feelgood) and good times with the greatest family in the world. TRADITION.
